Group Classes

Mondays 6:00-7:00pm @ iamthestormyoga, Bayfield Brecks

STRONG is a functional strength and conditioning class offering a full body workout under the wide open skies at Bayfield Brecks.

Using bodyweight, dumbbells, kettlebells, tyres, and ropes, this circuit-style class combines compound lifts, supporting exercises, and cardio to build strength, raise your heart rate, and get those endorphins flowing.

It’s more than a workout; it’s about showing up for yourself, building resilience and toughness, and reconnecting with nature while you sweat it out. Rain or shine, we train. If it’s not something you’ve experienced before, or you’re still a little apprehensive, why not try my mat-based LIFT classes on a Tuesday instead?

STRONG - Feel Resilient

LIFT: foundations- Start Strong

Tuesdays 9:45-10:45am @ Letheringsett Village Hall

LIFT is the perfect class for a beginner’s intro to strength training.

A little slower paced, this class leaves more time to understand the nuances of how your body moves, what weight is right for you and what movements will work which parts of your body.

You’ll discover exercises and muscles you didn’t know existed. But you’ll walk away feeling fantastic. Especially when you’re lifting with more ease each and every session and feeling the benefits of progressive overload. If you’re after a little more challenge, why not try my LIFT: forge class on a Tuesday instead? Or for a faster pace, Strong circuits on a Monday, or Lifting Club Wednesdays and Saturdays.

LIFT: forge - Build Strength

Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm @ Letheringsett Village Hall

This strength training class is all about gaining confidence in your body, how it moves and getting stronger.

Strength is super individual and the body unique, so I’ll be helping you learn to lift safely, and at the correct weight for you to make progress towards your goals.

This mat-based class is guaranteed to get you challenging your body and feeling progress in your strength and mobility week on week.

Suitable for all abilities, LIFT: forge can be a great way to get familiar with strength training if it’s not something you’ve experienced before and perfect to supplement training under the guidance and support of a PT.

If you need more 1:1 guidance, why not book a PT session? Or for a faster paced class try Strong circuits on a Monday, or Lifting Club Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Tuesdays Time TBC @ iamthestormyoga studio, Bayfield Brecks

Grounding into the Downward Flow

Apana is the energy of release; the downward, outward current that governs elimination, letting go, and our deep connection to the earth.

In this practice, we work with that current: slow, rooted movement, breathwork that empties before it fills, and space to release what no longer serves you.

This isn’t about pushing or performing. It’s about surrender, softening into the pelvis, the low belly, the base of the spine, the feet and trusting what naturally wants to fall away.

Expect grounding postures, supported hip openers, and a breath practice designed to draw energy down and out. You’ll leave lighter, clearer, and more rooted in your body.

Pause: Apanaveda Yoga

Wednesdays 7:00-8:00pm @ The Green Park Rural Centre, Wicken Green

This class is a breath of fresh air, an opportunity to pause midweek, journey inwards, connect with the body physically, emotionally, perhaps spiritually and give space to be. Quietening the chitter chatter of the mind, taking a moment to breathe and be present away from the busy-ness of life.

Practice begins with the breath, a gradual returning to the self, often a short meditation or body scan. We gently mobilise before shifting into asana and the physical practice. This can include Hatha Vinyasa flow, Sun Salutations, in addition to slow paced or static postures and balances, using the ground, breath and a focus on practising from the inside out. We finish with unravelling, relaxing, meditation and breath.

You are encouraged to practice completely individually and enjoy a self led flow, so postures can look different on every body, making it a great class for all levels.

Bring your mat, cushions, props and blankets and some water to get the most out of your practice.

Hatha with Em is a social group holding regular events: "Yoga cake date nights" (yoga followed by cake and chats), "Yogaversaries" (to celebrate our yoga connection) and other significant holidays. Its a great group for meeting new people and forming friendships.

Lifting Club: Wednesdays 45

Wednesdays 5:45-6:30pm @ Back Lane, East Rudham

Whether new to strength training or wanting to supplement your current training routine.

Lifting club offers PT led circuits-style classes with a focus on good form and progressive overload.

Strength & conditioning, all from my back garden. Get outside in nature and move your body. You’ll spend the hour working through body weight and weighted movements, to get your heart rate up.

This class is a fantastic way to feel good. Endorphins on high, you’ll be craving the movement by the time Wednesday rolls around.

You can come as a beginner, but I recommend tying my LIFT class on a Tuesday or perhaps a one to one session so you're ready for a slightly faster pace.

Wednesday 45 is a short, sweet & sweaty session. Combining full body KB/DB metabolic work — training movement patterns at lower loads with high repetition.

With a range of equipment and big garden space combined with specific planning to enable progressive overload and gradual strengthening so that you are getting the best from a full 6-7 week programme.

Join Strong Saturdays complementing the work we do on Wednesdays to get your minimum of 2 x strength sessions in per week

Mindful Movement Yoga

Fridays 9:45-10:45pm @ Bircham Social Club

Come stretch it out, slow it down, and go inward for an hour on your Friday morning. The perfect way to settle into the weekend.

No stress, no rush, just you, your body and your breath.

Suitable for all levels, perfect to learn, but also perfect to develop your practice if you’re in the mood for something a little slower and reflective.

Lifting Club: Strong Saturday

Saturdays 8:00-9:00am @ Back Lane, East Rudham

Whether new to strength training or wanting to supplement your current training routine.

Lifting club offers PT led circuits-style classes with a focus on good form and progressive overload.

We’re outside again!

Saturdays complementing work we do Wednesday, loading those same movement patterns (squat, hinge, push, pull) with barbells and heavier dumbbells for pure strength. Neither session fatigues the same energy system as the other, so they reinforce rather than interfere, putting you through a full body workout that incorporates strength and cardiovascular training to improve endurance, heart health, fitness levels, mood and energy.

A fab way to start the weekend.

Plus it’s all outdoors, all weathers, in a beautiful enclosed garden space. Surrounded by nature for the extra feel good factor.

Join Wednesdays 45 to get the most out of 2 x conditioning sessions per week.
